We hired Matt Wilson to perform at our wedding at the Driskill Hotel Easter weekend 2014 and I am so happy we did. We had a formal, 400 person wedding and Matt and his band brought the elegance, polish, energy, and packed dance floor we were hoping for. The Matt Wilson Band is a piano-driven band with Matt at the helm as pianist, lead singer, showman, and entertainer.
Matt and his agent Greg Williams were a pleasure to work with from the onset - friendly, professional, and responsive. The contract was straightforward and Matt and his band obliged our white dinner jacket attire by attending a jacket fitting and came to the venue suited up and ready to dazzle our guests. They provided us with an extensive song list prior to the wedding and even learned/performed several of our favorite songs. My husband and I learned a Viennese Waltz routine for our first dance. We sent Matt an edited version of the song and danced our first dance to his gorgeous rendition of "Can't Help Falling In Love."
Matt's talent for classic and contemporary music belongs on much bigger stages and we are grateful he shared his talent with us. Our guests danced the night away and could not have been more complimentary about the music. My cousin loved the band so much he hired them for his own wedding a few weeks later. They transitioned through the night seamlessly and went above and beyond to make the night perfect.
